Les Hospices Civils de Lyon souhaitent, pour la nouvelle année 2026, mettre en avant ce qui fait leur identité au fil des ans : les HCL, passé, présent, futur.
Graphiquement, nous avons traduit cette idée par trois approches différentes : des documents d’archives, des éléments découpés et des scans d’objets pour représenter le passé ; des photos des acteurs actuels et des chiffres des hôpitaux de Lyon pour le présent ; puis, la perspective des innovations futures à travers les illustrations de Manoël Verdiel.

For the New Year 2026, the Hospices Civils de Lyon wanted to highlight what has shaped their identity over the years: HCL — past, present, and future.
Visually, we translated this idea through three different approaches: archival documents, cut-out elements, and object scans to represent the past; photographs of current staff and figures from Lyon’s hospitals to represent the present; and finally, a vision of future innovations through the illustrations by Manoël Verdiel.
